Manisha Kabi is a PhD student in the Filion lab at the University of Toronto Scarborough. She did her Bachelors at Utkal University, India and her Masters at the University of Hyderabad, India. She worked as a Research Assistant with Prof. Udaykumar Ranga in the Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research, India and as a Research Technician with Dr. Guillaume Filion at the Center for Genomic Regulation in Barcelona. Manisha is currently the Biosciences Representative at the Graduate Students’ Association at Scarborough (GSAS) and the UTSC Representative at the Cell & Systems Biology Graduate Students Union’s (CSBGU). Her research topic focuses on studying the mechanisms of HIV latency by developing novel data-driven technologies targeted on host-virus interactions.
